This year, the tragic loss of another life to bulimia, really left me feeling frustrated – we just aren’t doing enough to reach people struggling with eating disorders. Her autopsy revealed almost 0 potassium in her system. She had shared with me through several phone discussions, how she had struggled with bulimia since the age of 14. Her parents and family knew nothing about this until her sister called : she passed away. Speaking with her parents and her sister, I was able to share what had happened over the past weeks and her decision to push getting help back for a few more weeks. Their grief so motivated me to do more than just a book, private sessions and recordings. I really felt heart sick at this tragic loss of life.
When Voice America approached me, it would take a substantial investment from me. They agreed to help me fund this, and so I decided to go for it. To come up with the balance of the funds, I started a donation fund.
You can help me fund this dynamic program, really the first of it’s kind, dedicated 100% to helping people with Eating Disorders. Click here, and support this incredible cause. I thank you on behave of the many clients I’ve worked with and those that are part of this listening audience. Thank you.
